Bio
I Gallery Of Lore nascono nel 2000. Da subito prende vita una intensa attività live, il gruppo si propone come tribute band dei The Gathering, riscuotendo numerosi consensi.
Il 28/06/2002 e' stato registrato un live a scopo puramente promozionale intitolato "Live at the Cavern Club". Sono presenti sul CD (registrato in presa diretta) 3 brani dei The Gathering, più due brani inediti dei Gallery Of Lore (Decades e…Mechanical travel) in versione rough.
Giugno 2003, Guido Adamo e Raoul Marchetti entrano a far parte del gruppo e Baron Frankenheimer ritorna al suo vero strumento, il basso, la band riprenderà l'attività live da ottobre 2003, proponendo anche il suo repertorio inedito.
23/11/2003, i Gallery of Lore sono impegnati con le registrazioni del loro primo debut album.
Gennaio 2004, Terry lascia la band poco prima delle sue sezioni di registrazione.
Il 17/02/2004 Terry viene definitivamente sostituita da Vera Maitilasso.
Nel Maggio 2004 la band si esibisce nel loro primo concorso musicale, “Aspettando Spazio Giovani 2004”, vincendo a pieni voti.
Novembre 2004, terminate le registrazioni del nuovo cd intitolato “a thousand miles away”, uscita prevista per Marzo 2005.
Settembre 2004, la band è inclusa nella compilation "Spazio Giovani 2004".
10/01/2005, la band partecipa al quarto volume del tributo dedicato a Syd Barrett, "Vegetable man", prodotto dalla www.oggettivolanti.it, disponibile da Novembre 2005.
05/04/2005, Raoul Marchetti lascia la band, non sarà sostituito da un altro chitarrista, la sua mancanza sarà coperta da Antimonio che si dividerà tra tastiere, teremin e chitarra.29/10/2005, la band sarà scelta per partecipare al secondo volume della storica compilation intitolata “Heavy randez vous vol.2” disponibile da Gennaio 2006 e prodotta dalla Crotalo records http://www.crotalo.com, primo volume uscito nel 1986. Ash sarà il brano incluso nella compilation.
