Bio

The band made up in Catania (Italy) in 2002, initially as a cover band named “Fibra” performing in several pubs and clubs around Sicily.

As Fibra, they played at the Harley Day 2005 (Mazzeo, Taormina ME) and, during the year 2006, participated to several national band contexts, among those the final phase of regional selection of Arezzo Wave 2007, held in Palma di Montechiaro (….), and Musicateneo 2006, in Catania.

At the end of June 2006, the band released the first EP demo with 6 original unedited tracks, recorded at Sonoria Studio Recording (Scordia-CT) and, on the strength of the Demo, entered in 2007 the rooster of E.G. Agency, took part to various festivals and have been selected to open the M.A.B. concert at Unirock 2007, Catania, and to the preliminary selection’s phase of Tour Music Fest (…).

In addition the band was interviewed live by several Radio stations (Radio kristall (MI), Radio Antenna 1, Radio Flash, radio Etna Espresso (CT), radio Zammù (CT), Radio Juke Box)

On the 26th of July ‘07 the band opened the Demofest / MEI SUD (Lamezia Terme-CZ_), section of emerging artists.

In the same year they entered the final phase of the following contexts: Roccarock ’07, Randarock ’07, Valverde Live Rock Square ’07, Souk Festival ’07.

In 2008 the new Promotional Demo is completed under the supervision and artistic direction of Salvo Urzì ((NoizeBox Studios-CT), the band is renamed 6L6.
